Unconventional 4th of July LOOKBOOK!
Happy 4th of July weekend!
I was originally going to have this post ready and live by yesterday (Friday) however, my boyfriend Tyler ended up flying home from D.C. to surprise me for my birthday! I am so excited to spend the weekend / our Birthdays / 4th of July together! We have never spent our Birthdays apart since dating almost 6 years and this one is for the books! It's funny because Tyler's Birthday is the 3rd and mines the 4th, so it's a long weekend of celebrating which is always a blast!
To kick off the exciting weekend, I went ahead and put together a few outfits that I thought were a bit more "unconventional" for the 4th! Over the next few days I will also be posting more conventional red, white, and blue looks however, I couldn't go without posting these fun looks!
LOOK ONE
I think it's safe to say these red pants are my favorite item in my closet at the moment. SO fun and SO perfect for the holiday! I paired them casually for a fun day out with my best friend Frankie. This look would be perfect for a a family brunch!
I scored this Free People dress at the Macy's sale in NYC and the colors are just perfect for this weekend. Instead of a festive colored purse, I went for a mustard yellow to change it up a bit! Wear this to a BBQ or wear as a beach coverup!
What a more perfect jacket and necklace combo? Also a cute look to end the night watching fireworks with all your closet friends!
Stay tuned for more 4th of July looks!
xoxo Lisa
I love that first top! Great for the holiday but for anytime as well!
