Polka Dot Skirt

Hey everyone!

Hope your week is going well! This weekend is my half marathon so I've been physically and mentally training for that lots this week - How cool was it that the Boston Marathon was yesterday? I hope to one day qualify and run it, that would be an amazing experience! What do you guys think of marathons? They really aren't as hard as you think. With the right training and nutrition, you can kick 13.1 miles in the butt!

So now back to this pretty outfit! This season I've been loving midi skirts and dresses. This polka dot skirt from LCB Boutique is just the right amount of feminine and fun. I love the wrapped bow belt, it's perfect for us girls who have smaller waists and larger hips. I always have the hardest time finding skirts that fit right. I can find skirts that fit perfect in the waist but are too tight in the hips and vice versa. Midi skirts are my happy medium, they fit amazing in the waist and the flare gives off a flattering look on the hips. I paired my skirt with this beautiful top from Lord & Taylor. I LOVE this top - LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It's so simplistic yet so modern and versatile. You all will probably see a lot more of this top this season! To finish off the outfit I wore comfortable Nine West heels and a necklace for some subtle color.

On a totally off topic note, I'm trying to grow my YouTube channel. I'm going to be posting at least once a week if not more. Videos will consist mostly of outfits, hauls, look books, favorites, diy's, and much more! YouTube videos are about 100 times more complex to make compared to blog posts, so excuse the first few videos on my channel - they are a work in progress ;)
Be sure to subscribe and give my videos thumbs up here - I'd really appreciate it!
