How TUE-sday - DIY Cut & Tie Tank
Happy Tuesday!
You know what that means! Todays how-to will be on making a cute and stylish tie tank. I've had this Roxy t-shirt for a while now and I've only worn it a few times. I really like it but it's just kind of boring, so I decided to make it into a tie tank for a cute spring and summer top. This post will show you step by step how I made it!
Hope you enjoy!
Shirt before:
Begin by cutting the sleeves off
Next cut the neckline
If you're just going for a tank top style stop at this point
How it looks just as a tank
Next cut the back of your top right about to your hips -
Then cut down the middle of the front to the cut of the back
Finally cut the front into a triangle shape - All done!
That was easy right!?
The final product so cute - I added a cute floral headband for that summery look

Headband || Pac Sun
Now you have a super awesome tie tank! I can't wait to do this to more of my old shirts. DIY tanks can be done in so many different ways. I'm sure in the future I will post more types. Today I was really missing summer so I thought this was appropriate!
Please tell me what you think! Thanks!
xoxo Lisa

ReplyDeleteThanks girl! It's so easy and cute! I was so surprised it actually looked pretty good instead of looking poorly cut!
