Complete 360 - Fashion To Food
Hey everyone!
So not my typical post but a ton of people have been asking for recipes!
The last two days I have been homemaking all my meals and creating alternatives for the foods I miss. If you didn't know I'm training for a half marathon, and not only is the exercise is important but so is my diet. I'm not like on an extreme diet or anything but the healthy eating helps with the running.
Recipes:
Blueberry Greek Yogurt Bites
Great alternative for sugary snacks
What you need:
- Fresh blueberries
- Any type of greek yogurt (I used Greek blueberry - Yoplait)
NEXT - take a toothpick and dip blueberries into yogurt
When done, let set in freezer for one hour

Banana Pancakes
Alternative for sugary/flour breakfast pancakes
What you need:
*Depending on how many pancakes you want - mine made about 8 small ones
- 3 small/medium bananas
- 1 egg
-1/4 tsp baking powder
*I also included cinnamon in mine, as well as crushed pecans
*Adding some instant oats may also help with consistency
NEXT - mash bananas gently then add remaining ingredients
After that, you continue to cook pancakes as you would normally
*these take a bit longer to brown
What I used instead of syrup -
Organic peanut butter (microwaved)
cinnamon
pecans
blueberries

Cauliflower Pizza
Alternative for high fatty flour pizza crust
What you need:
*Personal sized pizza
- 1 cup shredded cauliflower
(you can put cauliflower in food processor to shred if not already)
-1/2 cup low-fat mozzarella cheese
-1 tsp fresh garlic
-1/2 tsp dried oregano
NEXT - when cauliflower is shredded put in microwave for 7 minutes
after that, add remaining ingredients and mix well
You can use any baking sheet, I added parchment paper and sprayed with PAM
Put crust in oven at 350 for 10 minutes
After that, add remaining toppings you'd prefer on your pizza
(I added sautéed red pepper, onion, corn, little low-fat cheese, and quinoa)
Put back into oven for 15 more minutes or until crust is brown
** This recipe was by far my favorite out of the three**
